“Integrating Creative Arts into Homes and Schools with Positive Values and Love”
Competitions-cum-Thanksgiving Card Design Activity

The Committee on Home-School Co-operation (CHSC) will organise a series of competitions entitled “Integrating Creative Arts into Homes and Schools with Positive Values and Love” this school year. Creative arts and positive values are important concepts in education. With the co-operation between homes and schools, positive and harmonious relationships could be established by schools, parents and children. They are also encouraged to spread the message of positivity to the people around. The competitions and activity include:

  • Colouring Competition (Kindergarten and Junior Primary Category)
  • 4-Panel Comic Drawing Competition (Senior Primary and Secondary Category)
  • Thanksgiving Card Design Activity (Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary Category)

The entry form (Colouring Competitions, 4-Panel Comic Drawing Competitions) , colouring pictures and 4-panel comic frame can be downloaded from the CHSC website. Participants of the Colouring and 4-Panel Drawing Competitions can submit entries together with completed entry forms to the Secretariat of the CHSC by post to Room W215, 2/F, West Block, Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre, 19 Suffolk Road, Kowloon Tong, Kowloon.. Please indicate the type of Competitions on the envelope cover. Enclosed please find a copy of the regulations of the competitions and entry form.

Samples of thanksgiving card can also be downloaded via our website. Schools can distribute the cards to students for design and writing their message. You may also encourage them to give the cards out to show their gradtitute to their parents, family members, teachers and principals, schoolmates, etc.

Please encourage parents and students to participate in the activity and two competitions mentioned above. Deadlines of the competitions are 20 May 2020.

Deadline of the competitions is 20 May 2020. List of winners will be announced in mid-June 2020 via the website of the Committee on Home-School Co-operation (CHSC). Individual winners will be notified through their schools. For enquiries, please contact the CHSC Secretariat at 3698 4376.
